Hey, it's better to crumble at the beginning because crumbling while neck-deep in a project is the worst. I'm guilty of that myself, ruined one project in particular---one I considered the best collaborative project I ever worked on. I managed to salvage the friendship, but my professional ledger was tainted. Anyway, it's wise to find people who are committed. There's a long list of bullshit you'll have to wade through... possibly. The cool part is that there is a payoff. You just have to find individuals that are just as hungry as you are.
